Who Will Be The Next American Idol Judge?

That is right! Before the American Idol Season 12 starts this January, a search for the new American Idol Judge needs to be finished first. As of Thursday, Steve Tyler officially announced he will be leaving the American Idol panel table. Tyler’s announcement was followed by Jennifer Lopez with a statement that she too is leaving the house of American Idol. She made the announcement on a Ryan Seacrest’s radio program.
Their reasons? They want their normal life and job back and after two seasons with American Idol, it seems that Tyler missed touring with his band mates while J Lo on the other hand will go on a summer tour with Enrique Iglesias.
Choosing the next American Idol Judge is a crucial point for Fox since AI’s rating has not been the same since it first started. The performance of Tyler and Lopez did helped the show’s ratings in 2010 and increased by 5% thus the new judge needs to be as novelty and as entertaining as the two leaving judges.
Among the names that are being considered are Celine Dion, George Clinton, Lionel Ritchie, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry (who said she will decline and would rather focus on improving her music) and Ozzy Ousborne. Hmm, who do you think will be the next American Idol Judge?
