If you are looking for a good place to stay with the entire
family, Samal Island in Davao is one good choice and staying in Camp Holiday is
another awesome choice to have. Camp Holiday is the first resort that you will
find once you get to Samal Island via Sasa Wharf.
How to go Samal
There are two ways when going to Samal. The first one is via
Sasa Wharf where you have to pay P10 to cross to Samal Island or via your
booked Samal Resort. Most of the resorts in the island offer a boat transfer
from Davao port towards their resort.

What to do in Samal
Kids enjoying the beach at night! |
Since it is a family activity, the best thing to do in Samal
is to take a swim. Luckily, we booked Camp Holiday where an infinity and kid’s
pool is available. Aside from the chance to take a deep in the beach, we also
had an option to swim in their pool.

Pasalubong Time
There are a lot of pasalubong or ‘take home goodies’ from Davao and among the places to visit are Chinatown, Bangkerohan and night market.
