Experiencing Daguisit Rock Formation (The Family goes to Daguisit, Baler)

If you ever find yourself in Baler and wants to find some place to dip with, visiting Daguisit is a good option. If you want white sand beach and money is not an issue, Dicasalarin is always open for P300 per head entrance fee.  Since the family just want to enjoy the sceneries and the time we have with each other, visiting Daguisit was not a hard decision to make – and we didn’t regret it.

Where to stay in Daguisit

The cottages on the backgrouns is where you can stay!
Once you enter Baler, you can ask the locals for Daguisit Beach. It is just along the highway and you can easily identify it with the big rock formations on the beach. It is lined with a number of resorts with infinity pool. That’s where we find Amco Daguisit Resort.
Entrance: P20 per head
Cottage: P500 to 1500 depending on your number
Inclusion: Unlimited use of beach and infinity pool, shower and changing rooms

Daguisit Rock Formation

The rock formations in Daguisit are highly visible when the tide is low. We were able to find a place where we can safely wait for the bigger waves to hit us. The kids really enjoy it every time big waves gets to us.

Side Trips

Since we arrived early in Baler, we stopped at different tourist spots in the area.

The Famous Balete Tree

This is the biggest Balete Tree in the country according to the locals and we were lucky that we got their early. We even got to make a wish on the wishing well next to it.

The Famous “BALER” signage

For the nth time since I get to visit Baler, this signage was too popular that you can expect a long queue of people all the time. At 7 in the morning, it didn’t disappoint. Luckily, there was a short queue and we were able to get our shots without photo bombers.
