Experiencing Baler for the first time (before it became a tourist destination)

When we were young and Baler was just Baler!

So me and my friends finally had a time to have fun and decided to visit Baler, Aurora.
So this is us three years ago..

Welcome to Baler!
Before reaching Baler, you will get to pass by this man-made bridge, a dike that people filled with soil and stone to make it passable enough, allowing transportation to be continuous towards Baler and other towns of Aurora.

The first thing that we visited is Baler's famous "balete tree". The tree was said to be six hundred years old and if you are brave enough, you can get inside the big, old tree and pass through it.

The folks at the millennium tree
I challenge you!

After visiting the famous Balete tree, we had our lunch in Diguisit where you can enjoy watching big waves hitting big rock formations on the shore of Baler beach.

If you will visit Baler today, these places look have changed. The Balete tree is still there but you have to have patient in order to get near it because of the hundreds of folks visiting it every day.

In Daguisit, the cottages are better and there are infinity pools everywhere so you can also have your bath while watching these big rocks and big waves.
