Goodbye 2012; Hello 2013

New Year’s Eve has always been a spectacular moment everywhere in the world and as usual, New Year started early in the harbour of Australia. Known for their extravagant and extraordinary fireworks display, Sydney lighted up the sky with a pyrotechnics display that is worth $6.9 million with the Australian sensation Kylie Minogue curating the event.
From Sydney harbour, the Hong Kong sky was next to get illuminated in Victoria harbour with its minute pyrotechnic display. Asian countries slowly started their own countdown and fireworks displays with Myanmar joining the party and fireworks tradition for the first time. In Dubai, the world’s tallest building – Burj Khalifa towered with more lights and sounds as ever.
With the continuous movement of the time, London made an incredible display despite the rain as they lit up the sky using the London Eye Wheel.
Last but not the least, New York Times Square gets populated as again with more than one million spectators waiting for the traditional crystal ball drop to indicate that 2013 has begun. The crystal ball drop also signals people to start kissing and dancing as they all celebrate the new year’s eve with more hope of a better year ahead.
Happy New Year Everyone!
