Experiencing Mount Maranat (Team Promising goes to Mount Maranat)

At the jump off site

Just an hour away from Quezon City and can be reached via bus or jeep, Mount Maranat/Mt. Maranat is one of the most climbed mountains near Metro Manila.
Mount Maranat has an elevation of 2,708 feet and is the 52nd highest mountain in Central Luzon. In the country, it is the 751st highest mountain.
For first timers like “team promising”, Mt. Maranat a perfect mountain to climb for experience and test of endurance.
Just the beginning!
How to go to Mount Maranat
From Cubao, you can ride a bus going to Tungko then ride a jeep to Licao-Licao. The jeep will stop at the terminal which happens to be the jump off site for Mt. Maranat.

From the jump off site, there are stores where you can buy foods for lunch. As you trek to Mount Maranat, there are few stores along the way as well that sells water and "merienda."
remember to bring as much water as you can although if you are not picky, you can drink  natural water at the campsite, fresh from the mountains.
Water pa more!
What you can see in Mount Maranat
The first thing that you can enjoy in Mt. Maranat is the view. Give your eyes a treat and spend a few minutes looking at the green trees and grass around you (except summer of course).
Miss Mount Maranat 2015!
Every time you see a hard terrain ahead of you, think of the special treats ahead of you once you reach the summit of Mt. Maranat.!
This looks difficult but actually it is not, you just have to be inspired!
.... and be inspired with this!
The twin falls of Mount Maranat
One of the falls near the campsite with our new friends!

The good thing is, Mt. Maranat has a lot to offer, not just one or twin falls but more.
Before reaching the summit, there is river that you have to go through. If you are already tired, you can stay there and take a dip, relax and energize.

A place to rest..
