Experiencing Lake Danum, Sagada (Team Promising Goes to Lake Danum)

While traversing Mount Ampacao to Lake Danum

Lake Danum is located in Sitio Patay, one of the sitios in Sagada. It is popular to tourists because of its breathtaking sunset view.

There are two ways to get to Lake Danum:

1.       By walking uphill from Sagada Municipal Hall (can be done without a guide)

2.       By traversing Mont Ampacao to Lake Danum (better do it with a guide and hire a van to pick you up in Lake Danum for only P800)

With the help of our guide, we reach Lake Danum before sunset since we
traversed Mount Ampacao first. However, the foggy weather spoiled our supposed to be sunset viewing experience in Lake Danum.

Although there is no sunset to watch, we rested and enjoyed the cold wind coming from the surrounding Mountains that enclose the Lake. There are a lot of cows as well that you can take a picture with.
