Losing game 1 to the very young Oklahoma City Thunders seems
to serve as a great motivation for Miami Heat as they end the 2011-2012 season
with a 4-1 run and finally bag the most coveted title NBA Final Champions. This
year, Lebron James has finally won his very first NBA championship and getting
the regular season MVP as well as Finals MVP. The last player to win both
awards was Tim Duncan in 2003.
James was considered
as the key player who brought Miami to the finals after beating the Celtics on
its decision game last May 24 and continued to be the best man of his team as
he led the Miami to its second NBA finals championship with his triple double
score: 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. Along with James are Dwayne Wade,
Chris Bosh, Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier.
Ending game 5 with 121-106, the Miami Heat controlled much
of the game leaving the Thunder as much as 26 points. The Big Three (James,
Wade, Bosh) made sure that everything is under control. As the clock ticks down
to the last 3 minutes, the Heat is still leading far with more than 20 points. Despite the valiant effort of Kevin Durant (32
points, 11 rebounds) and Westbrook (19 points, 6 assists), the Heat finished
the series with 4-1 run and took home the NBA championship trophy.
