Vhong Nvarro Badly Hurt

Filipino personality, TV host and actor Vhong Navarro reportedly got hurt after being attacked at a friend’s condominium in Manila last Wednesday.

According to a statement release by his manager, Navarro was badly beaten and hurt and that he will need to undergo a surgery. Navarro will be absent from the noontime show he hosts and from his other television shows.

Navarro was allegedly invited by the female friend who owns the condo unit in Manila and was asked if they can cover his eyes which he consented thinking he will be surprised. After being blindfolded, he was attacked, tied up and so the story goes. The question now of who did it and why they did it.

This is the first time that a TV personality was badly beaten in the Philippines. Stories regarding the cause of the beating surfaces the internet although no official statement from Navarro has been released yet. According to his manager, he is unable to talk yet due to his injuries.

Navarro got two sons and just had his married annulled. He recently admitted having a non-showbiz girlfriend and that he wants to keep their relationship private in respect to his girlfriend.
